hi there!

I’m Dr. Lilly

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in evidence-based therapy. Since 2013, I have enjoyed providing therapy to young adults in private practice, a college counseling center, and hospital settings.

I attained my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute. After graduating from Wesleyan University with my bachelor’s degree in psychology, I completed my master’s degree in education at Long Island University.

I have a strong commitment to providing effective, compassionate therapy that is based in psychological science. Dedicated to staying abreast of research, I regularly attend conferences and trainings in behavioral therapy.

My personal lifestyle includes meditation and mindfulness, yoga, jogging, meaningful social connections, and a (mostly) healthy diet.

I look forward to meeting you!

evidence-based therapy

Tailored To Your Needs

We will work together to cultivate tools for coping with immediate life stressors, while progressively moving you toward your long-term goals.

Components of Change Include

  • Clarifying the components of a problem
  • Willingly experiencing discomfort to achieve long-term goals
  • Identifying a specific plan for what to do differently
  • Practicing and repeating the plan
  • Modifying the plan as needed to reflect new learning

We will work together to cultivate tools for coping with immediate life stressors, while progressively moving you toward your long-term goals. This is different from feeling happy all of the time or attaining certainty, both of which are incongruent with the nature of being human. Life involves experiencing pain, delight, and uncertainty. Therapy recognizes these fundamental truths about being human and allows us to relate to them flexibly and effectively.

For therapy to work, we have to figure out which evidence-based treatments are most appropriate for attaining your goals. Therapy also involves gentle guidance through compassion and respect for your ability to choose what is best for you.

together we will
